As per the 23MAY13 GDS timetable/inventory display, Kenya Airways (KQ) is currently displaying service reductions on its Nairobi - Bangkok - Guangzhou route, effective 10FEB14. The airline plans to operate 5 weekly instead of a daily service, however further changes remain possible in the next few months.

► ANGOLA: TAP Portugal to boost Luanda frequencies between June and September.
In line with its increased flights to former colony Mozambique this summer, Portugal's TAP Portugal (TP) will also increase its weekly frequencies between Lisbon and Luanda, Angola, from daily, to ten times weekly for the period June 8 to September 29. During the period an additional 3 weekly day time flights (ex-Lisbon) will operate.

► EGYPT: Turkish Airlines boosts Cairo, Alexandria frequencies from June.
Following the conclusion of a revised Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Egypt, Turkish Airlines (TK), will from 15JUN13, increases its Istanbul Ataturk – Cairo services, where it’ll operate 21 weekly flights. The Star Alliance member currently operates 17 weekly flights. Additionally, Alexandria will be boosted to daily effective 13JUN..

► ALGERIA: Royal Jordanian boosts its Algiers frequencies to four weekly.
Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ), has this month increased its frequencies on its Amman – Algiers route through the addition of a 4th weekly service. The new service operates on Tuesdays.
►► CHINA: Ethiopian Airlines reduces Beijing to 6x weekly from April 'til June.
[UPDATE 17 MAY] AirlineRoute writes that Ethiopian Airlines (ET) will from 01APR13 to 17JUN13 temporarily reduces its Addis Ababa – Beijing service, with the overall operation dropping to 6 weekly flights instead of the current daily. Boeing 777-200LR aircraft operates this route.

■ EGYPT: New BASA signed with Morocco as a revised one with Turkey still pending says EHCAAN boss.
The North African countries of Morocco and Egypt on May 5 finalized a renewed Bilateral Air Servcies Agreement which will see frequencies between the countries doubled from the previous seven, to fourteen weekly for each country's respective designated carrier(s). According to the head of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN), Engineer Magdy Abd El-Hady Hafez, the revised BASA also allows for Egyptair (MS) to serve other cities outside of Casablanca, including the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

► EGYPT: Qatar Airways boosts its Cairo frequencies to 16 weekly.
Qatar Airways (QR) has been operating an increased weekly service between Doha and the Egyptian capital, Cairo, since late-April 2013, where it now offers 16 weekly flights instead of 14. Extra flights operate on Thursdays and Saturdays from Doha.

► QATAR: Egyptair to go double daily to Doha from June.
EgyptAir (MS) has announced the addition of direct flights between Cairo and Doha, Qatar starting 01JUN 2013 using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The increase will bring the total number of weekly flights to 14 per week in a double daily operation, up from the current 10x weekly. The new frequencies will leave Cairo in the late evening, returning from Doha in the early morning.

The United Arab Emirates wants TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola (DT) to boost its flights between Dubai and Luanda claiming that the increase would help stimulate trade.
