► NIGERIA: Kabo Air eyes domestic, international service resumption.

 Kabo Air logoFresh from the delivery of its first B747-400, Nigerian Hajj specialist, Kabo Air (N9), has now announced plans to enter the domestic Nigerian market with additional plans to go regional.

According to the company's Corporate Affairs Manager, Aminu Hamza, Kabo Air's management has its given approval for the revival of its scheduled flights to Cairo, Dubai and Jeddah, dropped in 2010.

Management has also announced plans to resume domestic operations "soon" between Lagos, Kano and Abuja. Domestic flights were originally planned to start in 2009, but were cancelled as a result of the carrier not possessing the appropriate aircraft.

Meanwhile, Chanchangi Airlines has announced an updated timetable via its website; flights (said to be operating as of this posting but not yet confirmed) are restricted to Kaduna, Lagos and Abuja using a B737-300.
