The board is delighted that the company has achieved its ambitious targets, thus enabling additional aircraft to join its fleet,” Simon Clarke, CEO for AV Cargo Airlines Ltd., said.
AV Cargo now operates twice weekly to Bamako, Mali, three times to Lagos, Nigeria, and has added Monrovia, Liberia to complement services to Port Harcourt, Nigeria; Pointe Noire, Republic of the Congo; Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Cargo industry publication, Loadstar, reports that AV's owners were "unprepared" for the financial position of Avient Aviation at the time of its take over.

Customer demand is holding up with the limitation being mostly around bringing the new aircraft into service, which happened on 1st May 2013.
