► KENYA: Freedom Airline Express set to receive second Embraer 120ER Brasilia.

 Freedom Airline ExpressKenyan air charter and scheduled ops company, Freedom Airline Express Ltd, is set to receive a second Embraer 120ER Brasilia (MSN 247 | 5Y- ?) as it seeks to expand its operations.

Founded in 2008 and based out of Nairobi's Wilson Airport, Nairobi as a low cost carrier, Freedom Airlines operates limited scheduled flights in addition to ferrying passengers/or Cargo and offering relief and medical evacuation services.

Currently, their clients include Medecins Sans Frontieres Belgium, Medecins Sans Frontieres Netherlands, the Transitional Government of Somalia and Save the Children Fund.

Operations are also provided using a Bombardier CRJ200LR, Embraer 120s and a Dornier 228 to Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Southern Sudan with scheduled flights to Mandera and Garissa. The carrier, in the long term, intends to expand to Eldoret, Mwanza, Ukunda, Maasai Mara, Lamu, Isiolo and Moyale.
