Air Tanzania's acting Commercial manager, Mwanamvua Ngocho said that the operations on the Dar-Kigoma route would continue because the aircraft was in good shape.
“After the incident, we immediately imported a windshield from the US and our engineers replaced the faulty one,” Ms Mwanamvua said.

On 13 January, 5H-MWF, operating as flight TC-119 from Kigoma to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) with 39 passengers and 4 crew, was enroute about 20 minutes into the flight when the crew decided to return to Kigoma due to a cracked windshield. The aircraft landed safely back in Kigoma.
