■ BOTSWANA: Air Botswana begins process of finding a new GM after Mphi Tlhomelang passes.

Air Botswana
Following the recent passing of its late Acting General Manager, Ms Mphi Tlhomelang, Air Botswana (BP) has once more begun the process of finding a replacement. Ms Tlhomelang had only been in the position for two months after the resignation of previous GM, Sakhile Nyoni-Reiling, earlier this year.

According to the Batswana national carrier, the incumbent should be a " business-oriented strategic thinker" who will provide strategic leadership to a team of management executives while turning the airline into an "efficient, dependable and highly competitive regional outfit with potential for long-haul capability."

Once appointed, the new GM will be responsible for maintaining the airline's IOSA certificate and ensuring compliance to IATA, ICAO, and CAAB (Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana) benchmarks.

Applicants must submit their applications, CVs and certified copies of relevant certificates to:
  • The Acting General Manager,
