► GHANA: Eagle Atlantic Airlines to launch regional operations from October 15.

In a statement to The African Aviation Tribune, the airline refuted recent reports that it had suspended operations after YR-OTN, which originally arrived in Accra in August, was seen operating for Greek carrier, Bluebird Airways (BZ).

Instead, Eagle Atlantic confirmed the aircraft would be back in Ghana during the first week of October in time to launch flights.

Eagle Atlantic has been granted rights from Accra to Abidjan, Conakry, Dakar, Monrovia (Roberts), Freetown and Banjul.
