►► NIGERIA: Airstream Aviation starts cargo ops using wetleased B737-400F.

Airstream Aviation[UPDATE 13 APRIL] Abuja-based Airstream Aviation has launched scheduled cargo and ad-hoc charter operations on domestic routes using a wet leased Boeing B737-400F (MSN 24128 | S5-ABV).

According to Aviation in Nigeria, the freighter has been leased from Slovenian cargo operator Solinair (SOP) since December 2012.

A management consultancy firm specializing in aircraft procurement and leasing, airworthiness management, training and aircraft charter services, Airstream Aviation has offices both in Dubai (HQ) and Abuja.

[UPDATE 13 APRIL] ch-aviation lists the deal as having fallen through following Airstream Aviation's inability to pay its leasing bills on time.
