► NIGERIA: Dana Air resumes Port Harcourt flights from next week; confirms plans to acquire a 737.

Dana Air logoTroubled Nigerian carrier, Dana Air (9J), has announced plans to resume flights from both Lagos and Abuja to the southern city of Port Harcourt on Monday, April 22, 2013. In addition the airline has reaffirmed plans to acquire B737 aircraft as part of its fleet renewal plans.

The airline has also moved to confirm previous media reports about plans to acquire Boeing 737 aircraft (reported as a 737-700 AND an Airbus A319) which it says, will arrive by the 3rd Quarter of 2013.
