A niche carrier aimed at the premium market in South Africa, Fly Go-Air planned to operate full service flights between
Johannesburg's Lanseria Airport to Kruger Mpumalanga International
Airport with plans to start Polokwane and Pietermaritzburg in January. The airline also considered flights to
Bloemfontein and George and from KMIA to Cape Town in the long run.
However, according to ETNW, following its inaugural December 10 flight, nothing has been heard from the airline since.
In a statement issued by Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport’s (KMIA), management said it had “distanced” itself from any of FlyGoAir’s operations after the airline failed to communicate its reasons for not operating services as planned.

The airline's website, at this time, while still active, does not take any bookings.
Prior to its launch last year, Martin Boshoff, operations manager Fly Go Air, said that the airline had received a great number of bookings through its online portal for the December holidays.
In 2010, Fly Go-Air advertised thrice daily return flights between Pietermaritzburg, the city in which it was founded, and Gauteng,
though nothing eventually came of it, as the carrier was neither able
to present a convincing consumer protection arrangement nor was it able
to adequately describe the terms and conditions of its contract and
back-up aircraft.
