The Libyan Civil Aviation Authority (مصلحة الطيران المدني - LYCAA) has awarded L'Ente Nazionale di Assistenza al Volo (ENAV), the Italian state-owned company specializing in air navigation services together with its subsidiary Techno Sky, two contracts for the supply of consultancy, technical and training services to assist in the modernisation of the LYCAA's systems and its organisational and regulatory processes.

■ LIBYA: LYCAA selects Comsoft for aeronautical infrastructure & communications upgrade.
The Libyan Civil Aviation Authority (مصلحة الطيران المدني - LYCAA) has awarded a contract to upgrade all of Libya's existing Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN) and Automatic Identification System (AIS) infrastructure to Germany's Comsoft. The Egyptian Airports Company (EAC) has awarded US-based Aeronautical Radio, Incorporated (ARINC) a three year contract for the installation of its vMUSE passenger processing solution at five regional airports in Egypt including Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, Aswan, Borg El Arab and Abu Simbel.
