►► SUDAN: Marsland Aviation to receive first A320 in coming weeks.

Marsland AviationAccording to Skyliner.de, ACMI operator Aeolus Air will shortly wet-lease an Airbus A320 (MCN 368 | C5-AAO) to Sudanese scheduled operator Marsland Aviation (M7).

Currently, the Khartoum-based carrier leases two Boeing 737-500s from the Gambian ACMI that it operates on its domestic and regional flights to Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt and Kenya, with additional routes to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia being planned.

[UPDATE 9 NOVEMBER 2012] Apparently, the Airbus A320 has now been transferred to Sudanese carrier Tarco Air (TRQ), as the aircraft now features a Tarco Air logo.
