Punto Azul The first Embraer ERJ145 (MSN 145244 | PR-PSQ) to be operated by National Airways Corporation on behalf of Equato-guinean carrier Punto Azul (ZR), has touched down in Malabo.

Punto Azul General Manager, Mr. Rene Janata among other dignitaries and airports management officials present in Malabo said:
We are finally realizing our aspirations of offering our esteemed guests unrivalled service with the delivery of this aircraft,” said a clearly delighted Mr. Janata. “Over the next few days we will announce the introduction of our services with domestic flights to key domestic destinations like Bata and Mongomeyen. From the start we will remain firmly rooted in our founding principles of safe, reliable and regular operations”.  
Leased from ECC Leasing Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Embraer, Punto Azul plans to relaunch operations in due course with flights between Malabo, Bata and the newly inaugurated airport at Mongomeyen. Regional flights into Central and West Africa are planned once the other two ERJ145s arrive some time in the next three months.
