► COTE D'IVOIRE: Air Cote d'Ivoire set to receive third, and first own, A319 shortly.

Air Cote d'IvoireAir Cote d'Ivoire (HF) is due to take delivery of its third Airbus A319 (MSN 1018 | HB-IPR) to supplement two other Airbus A319s leased from Air France (AF) and an Embraer E170 leased from Regional (YS).

According to ch-aviation, the Airbus A319 will be the Ivorian carrier's first self-owned aircraft. 

While the airline has been busy expanding its regional network, and even mentioning a possible collaboration with Nigeria's Arik Air (W3), domestic operations have yet to begin. 

Last year, Ivorian Minister of Transport, Gaoussou Touré,  said domestic operations, though already planned, would only begin once infrastructure at local airfields and aerodromes had been carried out and was compliant with stipulated norms. Initial operations are expected to include Bouna, Bondoukou, Korhogo and Bouaké
